For the past several years, as I move project to project, I try to do a drawing every morning to say hello, and one each evening to say good bye to the crew I am working with. It gives a chance to put together simple gags to inform and entertain myself and the folks I work with. I've been wondering what to do with the thousands of drawings I've got archived away, and finally decided this may be the most relevant place to put a few, as a way to show some of the gag writing and humour I enjoy doing. A lot of the drawings I do, especially as a supervisor, remain behind the scenes, and this is a good way to get some sunlight on them.
I have worked in the animation industry since 1995, building a long history of storyboarding experience. I've worked as a director, head of story, storyboard supervisor, board artist, and board revision. below you'll find examples of projects I've worked on over the years as a board artist. The links below right will take you to each post. Click on any image in the posts, and you will be able to scroll through the frames. Thank you for taking the time to look at my work.
